About Creative Learning Institute

Creative Learning Institute is a professional firm established in 1987 to develop quality adult educational seminars and special events on a variety of human value related issues. Primary emphasis is on current trends and advances in areas of human development--theological, ethical, physiological and psychological--which promote understanding and appreciation of the integrated person.

 


About the Founder and Owner

Carol Ann Wallace, founder and owner of Creative Learning Institute has 35 years experience in the field of organizational development and adult education. Carol's passion for life-long learning in her own life leads her commitment to provide meaningful educational opportunities for others. Her vast experience in communicating with nationally known authorities on a variety of topics makes it possible for Creative Learning Institute to bring lectures to the Rochester area and the wider community.

  Education

  • BA from Winona State University, 1982
  • MS in Adult Professional Development from Winona State University, 1987
  • Attended Luther Theological Seminary, 1993 - 1996

  Professional Activities

  • Chaired Mayo Clinic Seminar for Nurse Anesthetists, 1975 - 1987
  • Established the History of Nursing Committee at Mayo Clinic
  • Coordinates a Lectureship in Human Values through Winona State University
  • Administers Annual Scholarships for Nursing Education through Mayo Department of Nursing
